With a name that suggests wealth and peace in the Tsou dialect, YuYuPas is a cultural park dedicated to the Tsou Tribe and a part of an Alishan tea garden 1,200 meters above sea level. This cultural community is intended to develop industries unique to indigenous Taiwanese, while creating jobs for young Tsou tribespeople. Highlights on the premises include: the Hamo Museum of Tsou Culture, the Mafei Restaurant, five tea parlors dedicated to each of the five most prominent Tsou clans, the Princess’ House souvenirs shop, the Maodanuo Theater, the Thousand-Year Cypress Store selling Hinoki cypress products, and a handicraft center resembling a Tsou tribal hut.
