Shihjhuo (stone table) Tea Region, high above sea level and covered in bewitching cloud and mist, produces the famous High Mountain Tea due to the dewy whether. Taste the fine tea, and bring some fine tea leaves as souvenir.
Shihjhuo Tea Region is an important stop on the Alishan Freeway, as well as the meeting point of several other freeways. ?In the streets along the road, there are a lot of restaurants and shops that sell special local products.? While Fenchihu is well-known for the lunch boxes, Shihjhuo has gained a nationwide reputation for its stewed snacks.

- Southern Highway No. 2 Mei Shan Interchange: get off Jung Bu Interchange and connect to line 18 Chiayi towards Alishan.? At 50km, turn left to county road No. 169 to towards Fenchihu and proceed according to road signs.
- Chung Shan Highway: connect to national freeway No.82 and change to Southern Highway No. 2 towards northern Chiayi.? Get off at Jung Bu interchange and proceed to Road No. 18 Chiayi towards Alishan.? At 50km, turn left to county road No. 169 to towards Fenchihu and proceed according to road signs.
Fengchihu

Fengchihu, a station in the Alishan Forest Railway, is famous for the old streets, lunch boxes and Chimonbambusa (bamboo).Beyong the station, there is a hundred-year-old street which is actually an alley of no more than 500 meters long.The shops are neatly distributed – grocery stores of special local products, bean curd store that was established several decades ago and merchandise stores that sell clothes and shoes etc. All of them maintain the old-time style. In the old street, we can find not only tasty food, but also antiques such as face cream used in grandma’s time, children’s garments,clothes,needles and threads in Chen Meng Zong’s stores, and “White Bear Face Cream” that has been known for more that seventy years. There are also some special shops and workshops in the old street.The clogs shop next to Fenchihu Hotel exhibits different kinds of clogs. The cultural workshop makes use of the bamboo dustpans which symbolizes Fenchihu to producedustpan lanterns and hangs them in every corner of the old streets. When the nightfall comes,under the dim yellow light of the lanterns, it seems that the clock is turned back to the thirties or forties,the glorious time of Fenchihu.

To the north: Get off at Bei Gang Interchange and proceed via Chiayi Min Sheng South Road to Jung Bu.? Proceed to Alishan Road, Shih Jhuo and connect to Fenchihu.
To the south: Get off at Tou Nan Interchange and proceed to Yong Guang.Continue to Meishan and connect to Jhuci.Proceed to Jhih Fan Road and Alishan Road, arrive Shih Jhuo.Follow the road signs to Fenchihu.

Tseng Wen Reservoir
Laiji Clan (The Titanic, The Museum of the Zou Clan)

The original name of Laiji is Lalaji, a Zou Clan situated around the foot of Ta Shan. In early days, the Zou Clan earned a living by hunting and collecting mountain products such as bamboo sprouts and mushrooms.The scenery of Laiji is characterized by mountains,valley waterfalls and forest ecology.
Sihbisihbi means Setaria Palmifolia in the Zou language. Sihbisihbi Precipice is named because Setaria Palmifolia grows all over the Sihbisihbi Path.The most famous attraction is the Titanic Precipice located on the peak.The original height of this precipice is 500 meters.During the 921 earthquake, it was raised for about 100 meters and became an almost perpendicular precipice.It used to be a place where the early Zou Clan hunted flying squirrels and goats.The nearby forest is rich in biological resources, which is the home for various kinds of mammals and birds.
