In order to develop permanently
tourism industry of Chiayi County, Chiayi County
Government enhances the tourism quality by
creating tourism industry and employment
opportunity of related business and further
stimulates local economic development, cultural
development, ecological sustainable
conservation, the life quality of the citizens.
Chiayi County Government thus establishes the
culture and tourism bureau.

The goal of the
establishment of the said tourism bureau
:
(1) To enhance the tourism of
Chiayi County and employment opportunity of
related business.
(2) To strengthen the
profits generated from the tourism and related
business of Chiayi County.
(3) To assist the
transformation of the agricultural industry into
tourism industry.
(4) To enhance the quality
of tourism service of Chiayi County. iB

To stimulate cultural development and ecological
conservation via the development of
tourism.
(6) To improve the life quality of
the citizens of Chiayi County via the
development of tourism.
The business
of the said tourism bureau :
(1) In charge of the promotion of
touring activities and festivals.
(2) In
charge of the assistance of tourism related
business such as the matters of hotels, local
hostels, restaurants, souvenirs, tour guides,
transportation, amusement park, and
museums.
(3) Offer the tourists the
information service.
(4) Management of
tourism quality.
(5) The establishment,
maintenance, and management of equipment and
tourist sites.
(6)The survey and conservation
of the tourism resources of Chiayi
County.
(7)Supervise the effect of tourism
toward economical, social, cultural and physical
surrounding of Chiayi County.
(8) In charge
of the cooperation with national and
international official and local institutions
and
groups. |
